What are Learning Domains in Development?
Let's face it, children are not born with 'How To' manuals and instructions. As parents, you may find it difficult to navigate through the first few years. Not a problem! You're in the right place. I have added videos on the main Learning Domains that help you understand how your child grows.

SEPTEMBER
For the month of September, we are focusing on five weeks of different themes. One week is 'My Community'. During this week, talk to your group or preschooler about the things within their community. Who makes up the community? Talk about the big school bus that is next to you at the red light. Talk about what can be found at the local supermarket. Acknowledge the job roles of those within your community with your preschooler and ask questions that encourage them to think.
THIS THIS AT HOME
The next time you hear an ambulance or police siren, talk about the job duties of officers and EMTs. Use scotch tape and 'copy' your fingerprints by pressing your print onto the sticky side of the tape. Describe for your preschooler how fingerprints are used to identify people.
